BOOKALORE @ RED BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

And we begin the New Year with a bang! Bookalore’s event this month (on 30 January) is at Redbridge International Academy and features Roopa Pai and Roopa Pai and Roopa Pai!  Why? Because this “Pai Piper” has fantabulous books for children of all ages! Catch her in action with her lovely picture book My Space, My Body, the action-packed fantasy adventure series Taranauts and the bestselling Gita for Children. This event is open to everyone. So all you young and old Roopa Pai fans out there, flock to Redbridge this Saturday!

MY SPACE, MY BODY
Time: 10.15am-11.00am
Age-group: 5-7 years

What does personal space mean? Which is my personal space, into which my friend cannot intrude? How large is my friend’s personal space, which I really should not go barging into? What does the Bhagvad Gita have to do with children? Come and find out! Listen to author Roopa Pai as she shares the life lessons she learnt from the great text while writing her latest book, The Gita for Children – and then ask her all the questions you want (although she doesn’t guarantee she will have all the answers). After all, the Gita is really all about asking questions, and helping you find the answers inside yourself.
