Usually, it is just the three of us at the office, working away in our respective rooms. We do meet, of course, for that important event of the working day – lunch! A meal which is more often than not spiced with animated discussions and heated debates! Or seasoned with some simple bullying of Bookalore’s adorable mascot; and yes, sometimes getting bullied in return.
However, there are times when we have visitors dropping by, which makes the day quite special. Tuesday evening saw storyteller Shreya Biswas in our office. A firm believer in the power of stories, Shreya is multilingual and tells stories in English, Hindi and Bengali, bringing them to life with words, songs and pictures. She was at Funky Rainbow to browse through our collection of Gandhi books to prepare for the Bookalore event in October.
To catch Shreya in action, be there at Bookalore’s October event on the 10th at the Butterfly Talent Academy, Banaswadi. Writer and Illustrator, Greystroke will join Shreya and, between the two of them, it promises to be a morning of Mahatma magic!
